12th July, From 10.00 am to 3.30 pm, Belfast City Hall & Royal Avenue
The 335th annual demonstration of the Battle of the Boyne will depart from Clifton Street (North Belfast) and make its way towards Royal Avenue before arriving at Belfast City Hall for 10.20am where there will be a wreath laying service at the cenotaph.
Following the service the parade will make its way towards the Dublin Road, Lisburn Road and Malone Road at around 11am before arriving at “the field” at Barnett Demesne from 12.30pm.
The procession from the cenotaph draws crowds from across many counties, as well as a strong turnout of local spectators lining the streets to witness the vibrant display.
Covering a return route of approximately 12 miles, the walk is the longest Orange parade anywhere on the Twelfth of July.
Grand Master Spencer Beattie, County Grand Orange Lodge of Belfast will welcome people to the field before introducing this year’s guest keynote speaker Gavin Robinson, MP.
The return parade will depart Barnett Demesne at 3.30pm before making its way back towards the City Centre.
